synd er  simpelthen ikke at være troende, have fast tillid til Gud uanset hvad i livet.

Synd er at skyde forbi guds mål.

Galaterne 5. 19-21.

 

Her ser du sort på hvidt, hvad din synd kan være. Guds Ord siger det.

 

Kødets begæringer er indlysende: seksuel umoral, urenhed, sanselighed, afgudsdyrkelse, Trolddom, fjendskab, ufred, jalousi, anfald af vrede, rivalisering, Uenigheder, spaltning, misundelse, drukkenskab, orgier, og ting som disse. Jeg advarer dig, som jeg advaret dig før, at de, der gør sådanne ting ikke vil arve Guds rige.

 

Matt 12,36 På dommens dag skal mennesker aflægge regnskab for ethvert tomt ord, de har talt.

 

Vi kommer ikke udenom, at vi alle skal aflægge et regnskab for vore liv overfor Gud. Hvor mange tomme, værdiløse ord bliver ikke sagt? Hvor mange gange synes vi ikke at vi lige skal sige noget sjovt eller komme med en vits?

 

Jeg tror ikke disse ord er ment som noget vi skal blive bange for. Men, Gud ønsker vi skal tænke os om, når vi taler. Nu kommer vi igen tilbage til det at være i Ånden. Er vi i Guds Hellegeånd, når vi bare tillader vores mund at løbe?

 

Vanens magt er stor. Det samme gælder vore ord, vi er så vant til bare at lade munden løbe. Hvad sindet er fyldt af, løber munden over med.

 

På dommens dag skal mennesker aflægge regnskab for ethvert tomt ord, de har talt. (Matt 12,36)

Galatians 5. 19-21.

 

Here you see in black and white what your sin may be. The Word of God says so.

 

The lusts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, unrest, jealousy, bouts of anger, rivalry, disagreements, division, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

 

Matt 12,36 On the Day of Judgment, people will be held accountable for every empty word they have spoken.

 

We do not get around the fact that we all have to account for our lives to God. How many empty, worthless words are not said? How many times do we not think we should just say something funny or come up with a joke?

 

I do not think these words are meant to be something we should be afraid of. But, God wants us to think about when we talk. Now we come back to being in the Spirit. Are we in the Holy Spirit of God when we just allow our mouths to run?

 

The power of habit is great. The same goes for our words, we are so used to just letting our mouths run. What the mind is filled with, the mouth overflows with.

 

On the Day of Judgment, people must account for every empty word they have spoken. (Matt 12,36)
